Girls Brigade and Boys Brigade

Killyleagh Parish supports the Girls Brigade Company in the town, which is affiliated to First Killyleagh Presbyterian Church. Girls from all the denominations are welcome. Some of the current GB girls, the Captain and other officers all are members of the Parish Church.

As a Christian organisation the GB encourages the girls to attend and support church. The GB Company has 50 girls from 3-18 years old, of whom around 40 are regulars.

Girls Brigade meets in 1st Presbyterian Church Cooke Hall (Plantation Street) each Monday from 6.15pm. For more information, contact Tracey Davies on 07511 164282. Or contact the Rector.

The Boys Brigade is an amalgamated Company, with the chaplaincy shared between the Presbyterian and Church of Ireland clergy. The Killyleagh BB is a small, friendly company, with a young, enthusiastic and committed Captain and team of leaders.

Like the GB, the Boys Brigade is a Christian Organisation for boys aged 4-18, committed to seeing lives enriched by supporting children and young people to reach their full potential and by providing opportunities to meet together and engage in a range of fun and developmental activities and experiences.

Boys Brigade meets in 2nd Presbyterian Church Lecture Hall (Irish Street) each Wednesday from 6.15pm. For more information, contact Mandy Russell on 07842 719038. Or contact the Rector.
